CHURCH BOOM NETWORK’S FIRST SOUL CARE RETREAT FOR PASTORS + SPOUSES

Join us for the Church Boom Network Soul Care Retreat, a restorative in-person retreat for lead pastors and their spouses in the Columbus, Ohio area at Heartland Conference Retreat Center (Marengo, OH).

This retreat is intentionally designed to help you slow down, breathe, and be renewed—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Led with care and simplicity, you’ll experience guided soul care sessions, meaningful connection with other pastors in the tribe, and generous margin to rest and reconnect with your spouse.

At this special retreat, you’ll experience:

  • Soul Care Sessions: Guided sessions led by Dave McNeely to help you process, replenish, and reset.
  • Hosted Care + Warm Community: Konan and Paula Stephens will host and help create a welcoming, unhurried environment.
  • Pastor + Spouse Renewal: Space to reconnect with your spouse away from the demands and pace of ministry life.
  • Rest, Margin, and Fun: Shared meals, free time, and a group outing (meal + Topgolf) woven into a peaceful retreat setting.

This retreat is your opportunity to step away from the daily demands of ministry, restore your soul, and return home refueled—together.

What to Wear / Pack

  • Casual, comfortable clothes (layers recommended)

  • Good tennis shoes (walking + activities)

  • Light jacket (spring weather can vary)

Travel & Accommodations

Closest Airport: John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH)

Transportation:

  • Flying: Group shuttle pickup at CMH at 2:00 PM on Monday

  • Driving: Meet at a designated coffee shop (details will be provided) before heading to the retreat center together

Accommodations: Lodging provided on-site at the retreat center for registered couples.

  • Arrive / Meet-up (Flying: 2:00 PM airport pickup; Driving: coffee shop meet-up—details coming)

  • Meal + Topgolf in Columbus

  • Settle in at retreat center

Tuesday, April 28

  • Soul Care sessions

  • Meals on-site

  • Margin for rest, connection, and spouse time

Wednesday, April 29

  • Final session + wrap-up

  • Depart by 2:00 PM
